The Critical Care Society of Southern Africa (CCSSA) is a not-for-profit organisation for professional doctors and nurses in Critical Care Medicine founded in South Africa in the late 1970s. The Society is administered by volunteers from the professional community.

The Society maintains an online presence at www.criticalcare.org.za. The site is intended as a source of news and information for current and prospective members of the society as well as other medical professionals both within Southern Africa and internationally. Information on upcoming events can be found on this site as well as supplementary information made available by presenters from these events.
